Michael is an experienced trial attorney whose practice encompasses catastrophic personal injury defense, trucking litigation, premises liability, insurance defense, construction defects, product liability, and business litigation.
After his 1983 graduation from Concordia College with a degree in music composition, Michael pursued his first career as a composer, performer, and teacher before earning his law degree. While in law school, Michael was an editor for the UCLA Law Review and served as a judicial extern for the first Japanese American appointed to the federal bench, the Hon. Robert Mitsuhiro Takasugi.
