Matt has extensive experience with a wide range of cases, including:

Matt began his career as a trial attorney handling personal injury, wrongful death, and property damage cases for the Major Claims Units of various insurance companies. He handled the matters from inception through trial, working through mergers, acquisitions, and separations.

Matt has succeeded at both alternative dispute resolutions and trials, and he remains ever-eager to pick a jury and litigate his clients' matters. He also drafts motions and briefs and has appeared a number of times for oral arguments before the Appellate Division, 1st and 2nd Department, succeeding on behalf of the defendants.

The legal profession runs in Matt's family, his grandfather having been a NYS Supreme Court Judge and his father serving as in-house counsel for a major insurance company.
